Enjoy the arts in West Sussex

Then you could catch a show at the Chichester Festival Theatre or one of the Worthing Theatres or those in Brighton such as the Theatre Royal. To find local concerts try Sussex Concerts. Your visit might coincide with a local festival such as the Arundel Festival or the Chichester Festivities. There are also a range of events for more specific audiences, such as ROX music festival and the End Of The Pier Film Festival.

Active pursuits

For the novice diver there is the shoal of Bognor Rocks (see Dive Sites Directory). Board Surfers use the bay and there are boat launching facilities in Bognor. The whole area is wonderful for leisurely cycling and many miles of coastline can be explored without crossing a 25m contour. A cycle path now exists much of the way between Chichester and Bognor Regis. Coastal footpaths on the Selsey Peninsular and inland ones on the South Downs provide good walking.
