Holidays in West Sussex
Whether you are looking for a short break or longer hotel holiday, if your destination is West Sussex then the Royal Norfolk can satisfy your needs.
Bognor's record for sunshine means you should see plenty of the sun. The town has no less than three beaches in the Good Beach Guide, one of which has even won an EnCams Seaside Award. As the sea is just beyond the hotel grounds you can easily be tempted to take a dip on a hot summer's afternoon.
On the doorstep

There are a variety of local garden centres and specialist nurseries to to keep gardeners happy.For darker evenings you can stroll along the esplanade to visit a show at the Alexandra Theatre, or catch a film in the local Reeltime Cinema.
Fancy a trip out
There are plenty of fascinating places within easy driving range for an afternoon's exploring or a full day out:
- Go west and you find the wildlife rich and scenic areas of Pagham Harbour and Chichester Harbour or the craft and tea shops of picturesque Bosham.
- Stray southward onto the Selsey peninsular and you can find the Northcommon Farm Centre.
- Go north west and discover the historic centre of Chichester for shopping or to see the cathedral and the Roman Palace at Fishbourne. Explore beyond Chichester and you will find West Dean gardens.
- Go north and visit Goodwood Park or enjoy spectacular walks and views on the South Downs. A bit further over the downs and you find Parham House and Gardens nestling in its deer park.
- Go north east and explore 16 acres of wood and meadow at Fairmile Bottom, or enjoy the antiques centres, magnificent Arundel Castle and the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust Centre on the Arun.
- Give your youngsters a treat at the Flying Fortress play centre
- Go east and you can enjoy the wilder areas of coastline around Climping, (a Site of Special Scientific Interest) or look for fossils on Littlehampton West Beach. A bit further and you can feed the swans or watch the nautical activities at Littlehampton Harbour.
